₹0 annual fee for life. Easy approval for first-time applicants and thin-CIBIL profiles. Rewards are mediocre — that's the trade for the free-forever fee structure.
Honest catch: Reward rate is among the lowest on this list. Get it as your first card, then upgrade in year 3.

₹499 annual fee + GST. Waived if you spend ₹1 lakh/year (most online shoppers will). 10x reward points on Amazon/Cleartrip and selected partners.
Honest catch: Reward redemption is fiddly. Best for partner-spend stackers, not casual users.

₹499 annual fee. Flat 2% cashback on Google Pay bill payments (electricity, gas, broadband, DTH). 1.5% on everything else. Cashback auto-credits monthly.
Honest catch: Cashback capped at ₹500/month on Google Pay bills.
